After coming up short last year, Choat & Purkey set their eyes on the prize.

Kevin Purkey and Tristan Choat lead at the 2012 Holiday Doubles tournament after 1 squad of qualifying on Friday.  They totaled a +750 (246 per man average) which was 58 pins more than the second place team of Don Griffin and Jay Bradshaw.

A full squad of 24 teams competed on Friday which was live-streamed in its entirety on InsideBowling.com.

"We are happy with what we bowled today, but we know we have to finish the tournament.  Last year we let it slip away down the stretch and we don't want to finish anywhere short of first this year" said Kevin Purkey who bowled the only 300 of the day.

3 more squads take to the lanes on Saturday beginning at 9AM CST and will be broadcast live on InsideBowling.com.
