Motiv Raptor Pursuit

The Raptor Pursuit was built to soar where other high-performance MOTIV balls could not.  When you build a ball for the top of the MOTIV Ball Guide, you usually need the cover to be strong enough to create traction in heavier volumes of oil. But there’s a tradeoff. Any friction created in the front and middle of the lane sacrifices down lane motion.  That’s great when you need traction, but not so great when you’re looking for length and down lane motion.  The Raptor Pursuit, with the massive symmetrical Affliction V2 core and the incredibly clean Aerial Propulsion pearl coverstock, is a unique combination for when bowlers need a more stable core but still want to see incredible length and speed downlane. The Raptor Pursuit was built for those who set their sights higher!

Wrapped around the Affliction V2 core is the Aerial Propulsion Pearl Reactive coverstock.  The Propulsion coverstock system has become a proven staple of the MOTIV pearl lineup for generating length and response to friction.  The Aerial Propulsion Pearl shell is the second cleanest cover in the Propulsion line behind only the Dark Matter Propulsion shell found on the Nebula.  That cleanliness was intentional. We wanted a shell that would stay off the friction in the front, conserve energy, and unleash down lane.  The Raptor Pursuit offers a huge core, clean cover, and violent finish! The Affliction V2 core is the strongest symmetrical core used by MOTIV bowling. Its low RG helps the Raptor Pursuit rev quickly, giving the ball plenty of stability and control. The high differential of .055 means there is no shortage of flare potential. A lot of bowlers automatically reach for an asymmetrical ball when they want high-performance strength. But asymmetry isn’t always the answer.  A powerful symmetrical core gives you versatility, predictability, and continuation through the pins that is unparalleled.
